@chyle zylander: Suuuuure. I guuuuuuuuess.

Ok, checked.

@roxjey: Haha, that's not it. I studied it already. I just picked a commercial path in life and I think about it a lot. I miss thinking about editing in a conceptual way.

dreams huh... I want(ed?) to be a graphical designer. a few years ago it got real hip being one though so the competition was a bit unrelenting. I can regret not going for it but still, I like what I'm working with today and I still see it as a hobby, though I'm more into photography now. anything to take me away from computers on my free time! haha~

@jonasfx: Haha. I'm jealous. Unless I'm filming, I spend the entire time on the computer in a kinda dank room.

@daviddoesntgetit: talking about dank rooms, have you tried developing your own films? like super 8 and such.

I mostly shoot good old black and white film with old cameras. for the avoiding computers thing again ;)

@jonasfx: Ah, no. My major was actually technology focused so we dealt with a lot of the hardware that comes with filming, like TVs and cables, and programs.

I have always wanted to give it a such. What's it like?

Haha. Ah, you avoid computers? Worlds collide then.

@daviddoesntgetit: ah, film tech? sounds reallyinteresting~ I had a while that I was thinking about working with stagelighting.

anyway, yeah.. dveloping your own film. it is amazing holding that film up to the light and see what youhave create it, just to hold it in your hands. haha. the best is probably seeing a print grow in the bath under the right light in the darkroom.

I love how honest your comics are.
Also I'm scared of what I'm going to end up doing. I'm studying to be an illustrator but I get scared that I'm going to end up doing something boring .____.

@bakura240: Ah. That's why I find a personal project for a professional artist to be a boon. Even if you're creating bullshit, at least you're doing something that feels more productive and personal on the side. Like this comic for me, haha.

But yeah, getting bogged down in bullshit all the time is an easy way to lose the will to create, haha. Our teacher insisted that we just get a waiter job until you get a job you're excited because work that doesn't inspire can easily kill your will to create for the rest of your life.

For example, this experimental animator was invited by Disney to work on the second Fantasia and apparently the experience was so disheartening she never created after that.
