I went over to Brad’s, I didn’t really know what else to do and the second I finished the drawing I just went back home.

I still have all these old art supplies I don’t use anymore, just in case I do want to use them again one day. Tons of expensive brushes, tubes of probably dried up paint. I never really went back to enjoying the act the of drawing ever again and I never really missed it. Still, it was so sudden I had to wonder where it went.

None of my family said anything about my grandpa not being able to see the picture before he died. I think we all collectively knew he was going to die before it was finished.

I don’t know why thinking that would happen made me stop. It just did. Death is still an awkward time, still no one knows what to do.

it makes sense not starting until after he passed away, I'd be too stressed out trying to finish it if I had to.

(disgaea is a good game! I have the first, second and now fourth. first both for ps2 and ds. it was one of the first games that me and my girlfriend really bonded over)

@jonasfx: Hm, it's strange. I don't think it was stress, I just had this feeling that he was going to die soon and so I just didn't do it.

It's just odd how you just know when the moment approaches.

Ah, I tried getting into the series but never had time. Haha, maybe I'll give it another shot.

I just wrote it 'cause I remember pausing from drawing just to watch Brad and asking him questions to distract myself.
