I always enjoyed the fact that Miriam and Connor seemed to spend more time cursing at each other yet they still consider each other good friends.

Speaking of things, I just finished deflecting Benard’s invitation to Christmas Eve church. Always fun.

In other news, I got some replies I would, in turn, like to reply too.

"Have you ever watched a Christmas movie where Santa actually goes around delivering presents but somehow the parents still doubts he exists? Like, do they not question the other presents that appeared under the tree?"

I don’t know. I barely pay attention to them. I guess they don’t. Here’s what my other siblings have to say.

Connor: Christmas movies are like a nightmare unfolding.

Miriam: I always felt that a character’s intelligence effectively reflects the intelligence of the writer. I’m just saying it’s not nice to pick on the mentally disabled.

Jesus. Well, fine. I’ll be serious about this question. Isn’t the ending of them finding those mysterious present meant that they turned around on the idea of Santa not existing and suddenly believe in Christmas again? That’s the plot of, about, 100% of them, right?

Haha, I’m sorry to those who enjoy the holidays. I hope you had a good time, don’t let me bring you down. Despite Connor, I still enjoy myself.

"Ha! Christmas is just a day I spend with my best friend (Hanukkah is her thing), going to movies (this year she picked Tintin…), eating out at a Chinese restaurant and remembering what friends are for. Presents are for New Year!"

Ah. How was the movie? I didn’t mean to rag on it so much.

That sounds like fun. I wish every family gathering wasn’t full of awkward tension across families, haha.
