I’m not easily offended by racism, in fact most of the time I don’t consider certain actions racism, like here, for the most part. Racism for me has to be hateful. If they’re stupid or ignorant then they’re just ignorant but I wouldn’t call that racism.

That thing with the guy in the trailer park unbelievably happened, that was by far the worst experience I had ever had in Florida, our dad wanting to move there is completely beyond my understanding.

In short I really hate Florida. More than racism, I hate Florida.

Yeah, I have to agree with you there. When I was in elementary school everybody assumed I was Chinese and would keep doing that "ching chong ching" crap and eventually I asked if they were "forking high".(my brother used words like "fork", "ships" and other stuff because he would get hit if he said an actually swear word and I ended up following suit)
the guy I told actually cried 'cause he thought I was cussing him out.
5 minute time out in the corner. Darn.

Sounds comparable to east Texas. When my family drove through there to visit me; they stopped at a waffle house.

My mom, and my sister said that they got the worst looks and could just FEEL the hate.

My Dad, and brother though were completely oblivious to it, haha!

(That last guy sounds like a bad horror scene though. D: Did he really say it with a smile...? *shudder* )

Well, everyone's a little bit racist, sometimes unintentionally. I guess I'm lucky I'm Chinese and I never had that ching chong crap. But my family is a racist bunch, bad talking about English foreigners. But still, racism is bad kids!

@-music-: Haha. Ok, that's pretty amazing.

Miriam kept getting in trouble for hitting other boys in schools. Wait, I'm one of those parents who just talks about their kid all the time.

Haha. But I like that story.

@Sir: Wow, really? Yeah, he did say it with a smile but he was also probably homeless.

This is just part of the joys of living in the south.

@Anonanon: Haha, I thought being Chinese would make you more susceptible to the ching chong crap.

Haha. Our dad has the amazing ability to be racist to everyone to the point he just hates everyone. But generally, yeah. I know generally our family isn't fond of Koreans or Japanese people.

@roxjey: Haha, an icon of us getting freaked out?

Yeah... our dad did this great thing around 9/11 where he would yell at Muslim women in the street asking them if it was Halloween.

That was one of the worst periods of our dad I had to sit through. (Possibly the worst.)

Connor ended up being the only one who could stand up to him. On a trip to Malaysia (Thailand?), we were at some theme park and there were a lot of middle easterners vacationing there.

Our dad tried to get up and get us to move by saying, "C'mon, I don't want to be bombed." Connor was furious and refused to budge from his seat and our dad ended up staying, also angry.

Really awkward animal trick show.

I live in FLorida! ... And I hate it there. It's so hot and sunny and it's hard for me to make friends as well as I did back in my old state. Also, I didn't know Daytona had guys with shotguns. o__o
