Patricia’s parents haven’t done anything about this, I suppose considering her age they still think it’s cute and that she’ll grow out of it.

I hate being such a prude but even just the word “sex” grosses me out. Haha.

A running joke with my mom and her sisters is when they’re changing a baby’s diaper they’d all say to each other, jokingly, “Sexy show!” As a kid I’d always yell at her that was a naughty word. Today the feeling hasn’t changed.

The word "sex" grosses me out too. I'm just 16 though so I'm not sure if that matters. Haha and every kid has a DS now, so baby sitting is more of a challenge sometimes, like when I baby sit my cousins they always stick to playing on there nintendo's then playing with toys xD ...or maybe that's just there problem.
Haha and I just started reading this comic and now I'm so into it, I love other people's stories in everyday life. You're family seems so entertaining compared to mine though...we're a independent-keep-to-yourselves kind of family, we don't keep in touch.
But this a interesting comic! I love it! And I don't know why but I'm so curious to know what Miriam and Connor look like in real life ^^" haha

Haha, I'm a bit prudish, too. When my friends, or brother, or sister try to mention sex or talk about what they've done, I put my hands over my ears or I have to walk away. I tried to stay and listen, but I just can't do it. It's 1/4 gross, 3/4 embarrassing.

roxjey April 15th, 2012, 12:41 pm

she will grow up out of it
it still its adorable but yeah youre asexual so its not so adorable for you

i think i might not be so bothered about sex as i used to but still its gross when they talk about it so freaking much...

and about that diapper thing
argh in my family they always do that when they are changing the kids
its so f"·% wrong in my opinion, its annoying too -_-

david's kindegarden? haha you seemto handle kids well. I kind of envy you ;)
I thought I'd dislike kids for ever but last summer I got a real connection with one of my cousins kids. I could tell when I met her first that she just wanted attention right then and I was happy to give it. after that she wanted me with everywhere haha
watching usagi drop and reading yotsuba I can start thinking about taking care of kids. still... I dunno. there's enough people in the world. I don't believe in economic growth and all that.

@W0rmh0le: I don't think it matters. At 13 some kids were already having sex (and a lady I met talked about an eight year old in her neighborhood who was pregnant) so everyone has their own pace.

Oh, hey! Glad you enjoy the comic, haha.

@Sir: Haha, I understand.

@roxjey: Ok, good to know she'll grow out of it.

I don't think it's that I'm asexual that I think it isn't adorable. It's just one of those things I worry about a lot, especially since Stephanie. I just don't like rejecting people but it has to happen.

Haha, don't worry about it, it's just a family joke. Just let it slide.

@jonasfx: Hahaha, my own daycare. Ah, I'm not that great with kids, sometimes I lose my patience and I feel terrible about it, but other than that we get along fine.

Well, adoption is always an option. Or you can just be like me and watch other people's kids as if they were your own, haha.

@daviddoesntgetit: daycare might be fun work. and instead of raising your own you can help raising others offspring. hm.. ooh~ daycare worker with an ulterior motive!
