Oh, it’s so good to laugh again.”

-Lucille Bluth

That video teacher ended up doing a lot for me. I’m not saying everyone’s college experience will have a teacher that will end up changing your life, but it happened with me and Miriam. Maybe it’ll happen for you.

Haha. We had to do that too. A year or so after we raised mealworms in class, we had a ton of them in our rice. We tried to wash it out but every once in a while, in the bowl, mealworms. It was hilariously disgusting. (Especially when they survive.)

Of course, being a kid, I’d occasionally, purposefully eat one.

Being able to laugh at these things is great, right? ‘Cause it’s freeing, it means you’ve moved on. People seem to associate it with being insane but, ah. They don’t get it. But that’s how it is, it’s just a funny story.

There was one girl who was envious of me and Brad, for some reason, so in response to our childhood stories she said, “Oh, yeah. I know how tough it is when your parents beat you with chopsticks. One time, when I was young, my parents took me to a pizza hut and there was a pinball machine there. I really wanted to play it but my mom said after we eat. Then as we were leaving and I reminded her she wouldn’t let me play it and I was so sad.”

I laughed in her face. Brad managed not to. I can’t be mature all the time.

It's easy to be envious, but hard to be mature. I don't know what I mean by this, I just wanted to say it.
