I think the best part of an extremely large family like we have is when we all get together and you just notice how things are changing.

Like with Leon there, the boy who wanted to join in our adult conversation, it’s easy to look at the younger ones and remember how you had to go through their stage and now you’re here. With as many members as we have, there’s constantly something happening, someone getting married, someone graduating or just starting school, someone getting a new job, someone moving. It’s just visual confirmation that life isn’t static.

I mostly just wonder where we’ll all be a year from now, how the kids are going to grow up, whether they’ll have kids and if we’ll continue to branch out. Who’ll keep in contact as we bigger, who’ll fall off the grid.

As we get older, we get more mixed kids, We get half white kids, half black kids, half whatever kids, it seems our generation’s gonna be the last pure Vietnamese and just thinking about it is kinda crazy. The language is gonna die out in our family soon, but that’s ok. It’s just change.

No matter what happens, even if I feel stagnant in my life, our family continues on.

Tien there is such a tomboy. She always seems to wind up in an all male conversation. Haha. And the major complaint seemed to be about the food which our family complained catered to the groom’s family more and that the rice was terrible.

When it came to the free candy, you can tell Jenny’s side of the family based on the number of free boxes of free candy on the table. Asians.

Congrats, Jenny. Hope you and John have a good life together.

Hey, I want to thank you guys. I used to be really uncomfortable around Patricia and I think ever since Stacy I've always been uncomfortable to think someone would fall for me.

I feel better with her now.

It's funny to read about the racial differences from another point of view. I'm white as can be and at my cousin's wedding (he married a Korean woman) we spoke about how young her father looked, considering he had a full head of hair and unnoticeable wrinkles haha.

I don't have a big family to myself, so it's interesting to see how you view them.

"It's just a visual confirmation that isn't static."

I need to remember that. I love all of this. <3 <3 <3

@IEatTacosForDinner: Haha, alright! Good! I don't feel so bad about the family gossip now.

Well. As bad.

@roxjey: You enjoy weddings? Man, I can barely. What parts do you like? Maybe I can find a way to enjoy them.

@jonasfx: Thanks... I hope she enjoyed it 'cause I can barely dance.

@mavi: Haha, great. Glad you're enjoying it. Jenny was the only one to take a family photo and it took a while to assemble and... it was large. Haha. We probably made up two thirds of the wedding.
