So many angry people on this page.

If any of you are wondering about the lady next to our father in Thailand, that was a girl he dated who was seven years older than Miriam, making her younger than both me and Bernard. None of us like her, she obviously was jealous of Miriam and overall a pain in the ass.

That car ride with our dad and Connor there, Connor came back furious, not only is he the most fashionable I’d say Connor’s the angriest. Meanwhile I’ve been trying to mellow down since college, haha. Though I did draw the phone conversation of myself in college, first time I banged a table in my life.

Always awkward to draw about your dad being a huge racist. Even so Connor tries to remember that last memory of our dad and not the more embarrassing ones. Connor says the shame of inaction at that one moment is his driving point. As a kid Connor wanted to be like our dad so much he wanted to take up smoking, haha. Then our dad slept around and he changed his mind.

All of our dad’s kids are just like him, whether or not they like it.

Oh, right! A reader, Dan, has been translating the comics into Chinese and I thought it was cool as fuck. You should check it out! She really did a great job. From what I can tell, haha.

chinese translation?? so coool~ *___* even though I can't read it at ALL! haha~ just knowing that this spreads like that is real cool. somehow this feels like webcomics ten years ago. there wasn't as much variety and what came up spread pretty good.

anyway, I'm glad this page finished on a lighter note. if it wasnt for that I'd sit here thinking your dad was a 100% asshole. now he's um.. less? haha, there's a heart behind that asshole wall xD
I do get passive aggressive with my dad sometimes. I've tried to make him broaden his thinking and he's softened a bit (specially after retiring from work) but yeah, a man with the motto that he doesn't change can be kind of hard to get thinking in new ways.

My dad is too.. I don't know why, but he really hates America, meaning that they are all psychopats, because that there are many serial killers, and that you can easily get a gun.

I got so mad, 'cause when I sad not all Americans are, sick, that would just be crazy! Then he said: "Most of them, and if you can't see that, you need to get checked." And then he pointed to his head.

I just don't get it, it's not like that there isn't crazy people in Denmark, and America just has another culture. I think it's crazy you can get a gun so easily, but that doesn't mean that the people buying them are, and not the whole contry.

@Mr.sasser: Well, most of the people who buy guns use them for sport. You know for hunting. It's not like we get guns and start firing randomly into large crowds. That's really the problem with racism, someone sees something different and immediately thinks the worst of it. Which is why I personally hate it, but most of my family is racist. :\

Heh, my parents are somewhat racist too. My mother is particularly guilty because she deliberately avoids doing business with black people (*Frowns*). She often tells her kids to not date blacks. Speaking of dating, it took both of my parents the toughest time to get over the fact that my older sister dated Hispanics.
They even told me to not dress a certain (i.e. tying my jacket around my hips) because they associated it with gang members. *Sigh*
Also, my old employer avoided hiring blacks too, although she certainly was not adverse to underpaying Hispanics. Tsk-tsk!

...Sheesh, people!

@jonasfx: Ah, you're right about that. There was about a couple year gap where I just didn't have time to go online and explore and when I did, so many people, haha. What a sight.

Hahahaha. I dunno, he's still an asshole. Still, it is kinda hard to stay mad at him, haha.

Yeah, changing them. Right now I'm just in the mindset that as long as he doesn't commit hate crimes, it's fine, haha.

@Mr.sasser: Haha, that seems to be a popular view. Out mother lives pretty close to the NRA and I nearly got shot in the fact and our dad owned a gun once.

Still. MOST people I know don't own one.

I think one of my favorite stereotypes is when someone I knew accepted an exchange student from the Middle East and the second the kid stepped off the plane he asked, "Where's your cowboy hats and cowboy boots?" He was so disappointed after that, hahaha.

But yeah, racist dads, haha.

@lil_shiro: Ah, always embarrassing to admit your family's less desirable behavior.

@roxjey: Hahaha.

@Odd1Out: Man. Sounds like our family, though it sometimes just goes to people with dark skin, like even Vietnamese people with dark skin.

Indeed. Speaking of under-paying people, in the Vietnamese restaurants in the area that indulge in that practice quite a bit and all the Hispanic ladies ended up speaking pretty fluent Vietnamese.

Hahaha, tying your sweatshirt around your waist. Why?

@Mr.sasser: Aw, we like you too.
