Mavi:

"Oh! If it's not too personal for you to answer Brad, I was wondering what made you figure out that you were bisexual?
Some of my friends are bisexual or are bi-curious. I'm straight, so I always try to learn from my friends' experiences on when they found out and how they reacted/dealt with their sexuality. Some of the stuff I hear doesn't make sense sometimes. For example, one of my male friends lost their girlfriend because she assumed bisexual = cheater! ]:< Hopefully you never have to deal with crap like that!"

Brad's usually a pretty easy-going guy but he gets riled up at times, this being one of them.

I also don't like it when people falsely accuse Brad of infidelity but then again I don't like false accusations in general. It seems like those who have dated Brad had a pleasant time.

On another note Brad and I were enjoying a website called gayhusbands.com. It's a site to help you determine if your husband is gay or not. It's hilariously offensive, Brad was angry nearly the entire time.

Gay husbands, straight wives.

I think part of the problem I have is all these women feeling like victims not possibly considering whatever trouble their gay husband might have. "Does your husband seem depressed? He might be gay."

Then again I live with Miriam. I feel like her reaction would be delighted.

That website is hilarious. XD I got a nice kick out of it. And this comic is very nice, maybe I should give it to my bi friend so she can show it to people. :P Love ya Brad, complete homo. XD

I wonder when brad actually gave himself the title of "bisexual".

Personally, I've been neglecting to give my sexuality a name. Mind you, I'm still just a confused teenager.... -.-'

Anyhow, it's a cute story~

"You can't fix a broken man, but he can break you." - Gayhusbands.com

Wow, if that sentence isn't full of unfortunate implications... I don't know what is. Quite a shame really, for the site does bring attention to a rarely-dealt with issue. Both sides of the marriage certainly should get the help and support they need.
But... seriously. I can't believe the site even has a section that promotes using SPYWARE on your spouse. *Shakes head* I can see why you would get pissed looking at it.
The only points the site gets is that they didn't recommend the "gay husband" to one of those hokey "Conversion Camps" where half-witted charlatans try to "convert" their patient into being straight. Those websites. UGH. It must be like those women you dated that tried to "convert" you too.

Woah, sorry... random tangent there.
Being bisexual myself, I am impressed that you figured it out so early. It took me a littler longer to know for sure. Us bisexuals need better representation in the media, dang it! *Shakes head over the "Glee" comment*
Brad, I liked how you tried helping your friend. Never stop being awesome!

P.S: Do you know the link to that new study about bisexuals? I wouldn't mind reading it myself, but it's okay if you can't remember it.

I Want That Bunny T-Shirt!!! <3 <3 <3

Brad, you have such a funny-looking squint in the first panel! =w= Do you look like that sometimes in real-life, or does David enjoy giving you doofy expressions on purpose??? (I'M JOKING!) XD;;;
Thank you SO MUCH for answering my question even though it's on the nosey side! =>w<=;;; I think it's SUPER-admirable how you're so secure about your sexuality! Some of my friends aren't at that point of their lives yet, so it'll be good if I mention to them some examples of positive viewpoints and facts, such as yours! =^A^=

@lil_shiro: Brad: I'm bi! But thank you.

@Isabelle: Brad's childhood scene? I'm quite proud of the kissing scene I drew 'cause I don't draw people kissing. Miriam insisted.

@Jump: Brad: Hey! I didn't really give myself the title until college actually, so I'm a late bloomer there, haha. In high school I'd brush off gay encounters as, "Just that one time." Haha.

Don't worry, you'll find yourself soon.

And thanks! It was cute, wasn't it?

David: Haha. Then necessity of finding a label for yourself is quite an interesting quest, isn't it? For one we constantly discount labels but on the other hand it helps us to easily identify ourselves. Makes you wonder about that desire, doesn't it?

@Odd1out: Hm, that's true, both sides do need help. I just can't get rid of the accusatory tone the entire website seems to have.

Man, spyware? It's just too underhanded. Southern Vietnamese tend to be straight forward, if they think you smell like shit and take a shower, they'll tell you. Northerners hint at it and it drives me crazy, I classify it under the passive-aggressive territory.

In any case, sorry. I went off the rails there. Haha.

Brad: Eh, maybe because it was the 90s they were trying to convert me, who knows. We still didn't know as much back then. At the moment I haven't been dating around so I don't know what their views are like anymore, I hope slightly more educated.

I agree about better representation in the media! I don't want to be those types that harp on every little thing.

Oh, sure! Here's the article.

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/08/23/health/23bisexual.html

I like the tone of it that implies, "Sorry, we should have listened to you." But honestly, for a while that fucking 2005 study was the go-to on what science had to say about bisexuals. Really fucking annoying.

@mavi: Haha. I'm sure that bunny t-shirt won't be hard to make.

Brad: To be honest I'm not surprised David is constantly drawing me in an unflattering light, based on how many readers claim how sexy I am. David, revealing a little bit about yourself, are we?

David: Jesus, fuck. It's just my style, alright?

Brad: I don't mind answering your question! And it certainly wasn't nosey, I'll let you know when it is. Feel free to ask me about anything else!

Yep, I was getting sick of having to hide it all the time so I just took the opposite path. Though some people claim that I'm just shoving my sexuality in their faces but pronouncing it.

Wow, that's flattering! Well, give your friends some time, tell them I'm ont heir side though!

@roxjey: Brad: Great!

Man. I'm sorry to hear you're a fan of Glee. And I did not watch enough to know who the fuck the characters are. I guess other gay characters show up? But the parts I watched had only one guy at the moment, and I happened to catch a glimpse of that quote because someone else was watching it at the time.

But the main gay guy I'm assuming. I don't fucking know.

oh, I've heard about that some people tend to think that bisexual = cheater! I think they're just uncertain themselves.. like how some girls only let their guys have male friends because otherwise they worry/get jealous.

and "gays in denial"? glad to hear that study is under way! you'd think gay people would be more open than to say things like bi's are in denial! haha... sad actually but I've heard it myself 9_9;

[R]

roxjey August 7th, 2012, 10:54 pm

@daviddoesntgetit: oh yeah... the main guy is an asshole -_-

[R]

daviddoesntgetit August 15th, 2012, 2:01 pm

@jonasfx: Hm, that's an interesting way to look at it.

Haha, you've heard it yourself? Really? Damn. Brad would not be happy to hear that.

@roxjey: Brad: Ok, good. I'm glad we can agree there.

That kid is the biggest piece of shit.
