Just drawing some of my sillier comics that I had planned out. Also because I'm pretty stressed out and this is still my way to unwind.

I don't know what's going on with New Years this year but two people in our family have sick parents that they need to go visit for a couple weeks with kids I need to take care of so... I'm pretty tired.

Editing with our mom was kind've hilarious. Just so many blank spots in the video because she didn't want to translate it.

Our mom's pretty great because she is... very much a mom. Haha.

Aww David, You're mom is so cute!
My mom is a grumpy pain in the ass. I'm glad you have such a nice lady for a mom though.

Oh man, they're having you edit videos that aren't in English? Sounds pretty brutal. It's a good that you have awesome relatives like your mother and Douglass helping you translate though! I'd honestly have no idea what I would do if I had school/job assignments that required me to work in another language! You're tough, David! *Thumbs up, with sparkles*
Do you think you were able to pick up more about your culture's history and current issues through your job? What about your Vietnamese? *Grins*

Ahahaha, your mother sounds so lighthearted. Kitties~! Reading about your comic makes me miss my own mother a little, but not in a bad way. *Soft smile* Huh, I should probably call her sometime...

@Jigglypuff: Haha, our mom is very much a mom. We're thankful too.

@hyeonmu: Haha... When I said people had sick parents, that was a polite way to say dying. In this case, you don't have to worry about me.

@odd1out: Eh? It's not that bad, I understand Vietnamese a fair bit, I've mentioned that before. Like our mom said, my level of proficiency is about middle school though. Haha. I don't think anyone's crazy enough to give someone a completely different language.

Well, I know people do subtitling but in that case I think it requires less comprehension on their part.

I guess I'd say I learned a lot more? I'm a little unsure, haha. I did with this video but most of the time it's just them talking about current events in America so that doesn't really do anything for me. I don't know if my Vietnamese is getting better, maybe? Haha. I think I can speak and stumble less though.

Haha, that sounds good. Go for it.
