I have a pretty bad headache right now.

Anyways, Connor sure is precocious as fuck. Haha. I think he said he lost that autograph after we moved and shit got lost but he had it up until middle school in the top drawer of his desk and he would look at it occasionally even then.

What moments in your life made you grow up a bit more?

That is simply adorable. It's a shame it was lost...

I would offer you a cushion for your headache but I currently cannot. It has dog hair all over it.

One moment in life that made me grow a little was getting a car door slammed on my head. I realized life wasn't all that stupid after all.

The time I banged my shoulder really hard on the edge of the desk and thought I was bleeding to death because it hurt so bad, but I didn't want to be a baby and cry. I asked my mom to get me a band-aid, but she was in a pissy mood and told me to get it myself. I sat in my room and cried silently, band-aidless, and I realized then that I had to take care of myself, and that I couldn't rely on anyone else for help.

Ahhhh, fuck, what am I saying. Who cares.

Also, that's pretty awesome that Connor met that author. Neat coincidence that you happened to meet at the beach ^_^ Haha, I'd probably nerd out and hyperventilate if I ever met any of my favorite artists/authors.

@hyeonmu: Haha, thank you for the aid. My headache went away eventually.

Ouch! How the hell did that happen?!

@Dumah: Haha. Also the first time you learned your parents were their own entities, eh?

Haha, I asked so I care.

Yeah, that was quite a coincidence... considering how little books on Vietnamese people there are, apparently. Haha.

@daviddoesntgetit: I was getting a ball from under a car, and was in the middle of getting up when someone had shut the door very forcefully. After getting stapled together at the hospital, I began to be more appreciative of some things... like life! I guess it was fine timing for that event; I was beginning to get sucked into a gloom-and-doom-fest inside of myself.

Sometimes I wonder if it was some subconscious fear of death/the beyond that helped me, but I don't recall being scared. I did freak out because I saw a lot of blood and didn't know where it was coming from (at the time)... hrm. Maybe that was surprise...?

@hyeonmu: HAHAHA. JESUS. God, reading that gave me the willies, haha. That is quite a head trauma, I can't even imagine.

I dunno but I read recently that as you die, the brain releases endorphins to relax you. That also makes me wonder how people seem to know when someone is about to die. They could have been ill the entire year, but when the time comes and you have to call the family to come say goodbye, it's almost never off.

@daviddoesntgetit: Holy smokes. That's some new info for me there about the endorphins! Makes me think more about my body going into "shutdown-just-in-case" mode back there. Haha; you've succeeded in giving me backlash-willies...
