Joel is 10 years older than me, he was one of the oldest, but not the oldest.

He was in the army before he went back to do sculpture so he was basically the only non-vegetarian in the sculpture department, haha. I've always like Joel, he was a cool guy and down to earth.

But yeah, I miss having a studio that I could just dick around in.

He was the reason I stopped being as lazy as I was, haha.

Finally

@daviddoesntgetit: I have read this autobiography with a satisfied relish. When I started I could not stop reading it the way you portrayed much of your past and daily life is so well done as that of a talented story teller.

Oh yea supposedly as you get older you only end up needing four hours of sleep.

Wow. He's an awesome motivator and comrade.

I find myself missing studios too; there was a lot of space, and assorted supplies I didn't have to buy! I'd get myself a large pizza and eat that for a day and a half there, haha. If not then a really big sub sandwich (it'd last about a half a day). Or riceballs or sandwiches or pasta or... it was fun figuring out a menu that would remain good-tasting without being re-heated. The studios weren't really crowded either; I just stuck to my little area while people trickled in and out.

... I don't think I'd be able to stay awake for 20 hours without napping though. You guys are nuts.

Yeah, it's good to have a hard-working friend to get you motivated.

@Sunset*: Oh, that's good! I'm glad! I write with feeling, mostly, and hope that makes up for my lack of technical ability, haha.

It's true though that has nothing to do with my situation, haha. I like to sleep nine hours. People can brag about sleeping less all they want but I like the feeling of sleeping and dreaming.

@hyeonmu: Haha, that's exactly what we did with snacks. What snacks could we eat to keep our energy up? Ah, I miss those days.

Haha, I can't even begin to talk about the all-nighters we pulled. Joel was always a hard worker when it came to art but he was as lazy as I was about writing papers so that was always a clusterfuck. We both ended up with Ds in those classes together, haha. Though most of the time he'd get a C and I'd still end up with a D.

@cstar: Hell yeah!

@WhisperingHeartSyndrome: Haha, I recommend it. It makes working really fun.

@daviddoesntgetit: That's sounds nice my reason why I like sleep is pretty like that especially when I had a dream I wake revved up or depending the dream groggy. Nine hours tells me you get enough from your sleep.
