Ok, guys. I'll admit. The reason I'm so late is because we got another friend to join in on us playing Civ V and that's all we've been doing.

I can't stop. It is, basically, ruining my life.

In any case, uh. I guess this could be a way to look at karma, because we're all connected, if you act like a jackass, it'll find its way back to you somehow. Like, y'know, ripples in the water or some shit.

Anyways, another factor that made me come up with all this was when I learned things about the older generation, and why they acted the way they did and how that affected how they treated me and ended up affecting me. Just knowing that simple fact makes life look pretty impressive.

I think being conscious of that fact really makes you try to understand things a bit more because there's the surface value, and then there's the thing that's a result of all that shit.

Hm. I think I'm rambling so I'll stop. But I really liked astronomy in high school and I almost did that instead of going to art school, haha. What could have been!

That's how I learned to be a duck while working customer service, just let the water run off my back. I figure, some people who came in and bitched at me weren't really bitching at me, they were just projecting, and I rarely let it get to me. That's why I'm always patient with workers when I'm the customer, no matter my mood, even if they make mistakes.

@Dumah: Haha. I also try to live like that... but shit gets the better of me sometimes.

I feel that I do better as the customer, I'm cool when shit doesn't go right. Working in the service industry for a while really helps give you a perspective in life. I don't care what your major is, work as a service person for a while.

Of course while I was witnessed to the greatest assholes, I've also met the nicest people. Haha.
