zloi medved asked: do you wonder if or how you might have ended up, as a person, today if it hadn't happened and (what i'm really interested in knowing:), would you want to? there's a lot of things about the person i am today i am not happy with, but if someone came along and said "i can change the past so that this thing never happened", i don't think i'd willing to sacrifice who i am and who i have made myself into just to get rid of that bad thing. even if it meant getting rid of something painful that happened to me, that has affected me in a deeply negative way, i don't think it would be worth it.

I think, of course, this mentality only comes about once the event has passed and you've gotten passed it. 'Cause once you've gotten passed it, there's that relief and your brain just going, "Hey, congrats on getting past that challenge." Something like that.

Nice little life lesson. That bad times help define who you are. Never would have thought I would have learned this from a guy posting a comic about his life on the internet. XD
Good job with the comics.

@PyroTeam: Haha. Seems you have yet to explore the full breath of the internet then.

Hey. Thanks.

@daviddoesntgetit:
No problem. Some comics made me laugh, relate even sympathize and learn other people's family life.
Like your family has drama, when nearly most of my family are all accepting. (Except maybe that one uncle I have up in Chicago that never visits)
It seems with the internet, I don't live in the bubble of what I only know.
(Maybe I should stop rambling and go to bed)

This reminds of a some phrase do not remember the exact words but something about sorrow giving wisdom to the heart and strengthen it. What did Miriam mean by more drama on tv as, in soap opera or just pure drama for when I watch are the spanish ones for when I have glanced the America ones I feel they are very bland or restrained.

@PyroTeam: Yeah, people keep saying they have a pretty good laugh. Let's just say I would hope so! It's great people like that are reading my comic, haha. I don't wish ill on anyone.

Yeah, internet's pretty great for that. Glad you're using it well.

@Sunset*: She said she wanted more dramedy. Dramedy is a word that combines both drama and comedy so it's a TV show that manages to have comedic moments with very dramatic moments.

Nowadays television is divided very cleanly into a comedy section and a drama section, like how on NBC, they have a Thursday night block of comedy shows. I'm not really sure why but television executives thinks TV show should be divided that way and Miriam told me it's very hard for a writer in the industry to be labeled as both, they usually only see you one way or the other.

There's not a lot of shows classified as dramedy anymore. I guess Glee is very, VERY loosely defined as dramedy, but it's such shit so that's the category I put it under. Freaks & Geeks is a dramedy.

Breaking Bad is a drama but they have a lot of light hearted, comedic moments and on the other end of the spectrum, Parks & Rec has some drama but it's still a comedy.

Oh, do you mean American TV shows in general or American soap operas? 'Cause if you mean just TV shows, I will fight you, haha.

@daviddoesntgetit: okay in my prespective Spanish soap operas are drama as Miriam and you have described for there is one called la Amor que manda ( eng: love is the boss) which is dramatic and funny. The comment I ment to make was to say American soap operas are really bland and I think when I compared them to Spanish ones a bit over rated but like I mentioned I have only glanced them.

@Sunset*: Oh, you don't have to defend your statement. Really. I could care less about soap operas and I know jack shit about American ones at that. Whatever you like is fine, I was just joking.
