Hey, I'm back.

Our dad seems to be enjoying the fact I'm learning to cook for myself, he gets excited when I call him on the phone for cooking advice, after he's yelled at me for being an idiot, that is.

Our dad gave me some cleaned and gutted fish to fry up at some point in the future, but I don't know to make the dipping sauce for fish. The problem I've been having lately is nothing I cook seems to match up to our dad, it's always fine but never really amazing.

I know how to write the names of Vietnamese food, the only thing I know how to write, but I still can't read recipes, so I've been watching videos on youtube. I can read the ingredient list but that's it.

I just realized how I only know how to read and write food in Vietnam but I can't read the stories my ancestors wrote... Kinda nervous about this fish now.

Next time on DavidBall Z: David learns to be a police officer and help out his Family AND Society instead of being a lazy asshole who works at a job for a living. So damn lazy.

@RubberyParts: Connor would punch me in the gut if I became a cop.

@Mr.sasser: You should try it sometime. Just get leftover cold rice, stir it into a pan with some oil, mix in leftover meat and veggies from the day before with some fish sauce or soy sauce and eggs and you're done. It's hard to fuck up.

Thanks :) My father often makes stuff like that, but yes it's just so simple and so delicious. Especially with scrambled eggs

- And thanks for answering comments, it's really nice of you :)

@Mr.sasser: Ah, you're embarrassing me.

Ah... I wish I could cook like our dad. Maybe with practice but I think our dad is just smarter than me.
