Brad asked that I draw him older after this discussion. He's taken to wearing his fake glasses as well again 'cause he said his vision is starting to get a little worse so he might as well get used to having it on his face. Now that he's older, he's really got that architect look going on.

I could go for some bisque right about now.

That workday sounds exhausting. What do Miriam and Conner do?

How old are you and Brad, if you don't mind me asking?

Soon Brad will start going grey and get some goatee stubble...

Speaking of which, have you ever tried growing facial hair?

Speaking of architecture, I was looking at a building today and wondered, do architects just design half of a building and then make it symmetrical? I'm probably simplifying it...but a lot of buildings seem like that.

I think it's the same for nearly everyone - occasional bright moments among routine. This is why I could never stick to doing daily comics - the pressure of having to find something remarkable about each day makes me nervous and when I don't think of it stuff just happens.

I know this is off topic but I've been rereading the comic. You mentioned maybe moving in with Bernard when Connor and Miriam move out but I was wondering if you remember working for Adam in his candy shop? Seems like you've got a lot of choices which is nice. :)

@Reealt: Miriam works but only part time, she works about 3-4 days a week, depending. Connor is in school and he has classes four days of the week.

I'm 36, turning 37 next month. Brad's already 37.

@Zero_Artist: Ah... Someone answered for me. Brad said if he ever grows a goatee, I have free reign to murder him.

@cstar: I don't think that makes a lot of sense to do anything like that.

@Oly-RRR: Oh, I wasn't complaining about that. I was complaining about my energy level at the end of the day.

From summer until winter, I'm usually constantly running back and forth from family member to family member so I'm never worried about lack of material. It's spring when everyone gets lazy that I run out of things to write and ask readers to submit questions, haha.

But yeah. I guess that's why having daily comics but not a schedule would work. But then you don't ever draw so... I guess it's helpful I have a lot to look back on to fill in those empty days.

Anyways, I realize that's what a life of routine is like so I tend to keep plans of comics about the past around.

@roxjey: Haha, it's fine, it's fine, we don't have any worries about being old.

@Tristan232: Yeah, he still brings that up every once in a while, haha. But I think I'd miss Brad and Amy too much, and I wanna be around my nephew/niece. He was very persuasive with promises of food though.

Yeah, it's nice that I don't feel locked into any one decision.

@Wolfdarling: Haha, well, I don't have much else going on in my life so a diary comic isn't a big deal, nor does it take up too much time. I've been getting fast at drawing it so a two line strip takes about half an hour.

Yeah, Richmond is great for shit always happening! It's why I moved here and didn't leave. Also, the food is great. There's less Vietnamese food here than Fairfax but at least Fairfax isn't too far away.

Ah, found footage. My biggest weakness when it comes to video editing, haha. It's why I am terrible at editing documentaries and the like. I still go to a lot of the student shows at the end of the year, it's a lot of fun.

Haha. Yeah, the hipster community is quite big here, but it's great. Connor still enjoys it even though he's more a self-proclaimed punk now.

I used to visit UVA a lot when Brad went there. Nostalgic. Haha, good luck finding us. I guess it's not that hard, if you find a roving band of Vietnamese people and a random white guy with them.
