Hey, so first of, I want to thank everyone that sent me an encouraging message or a nice thought. It really meant a lot to me. I'm way too tired to reply but I will soon.

Just thanks for being so supportive and with all the parenting sites and the like, I've been reading them and they've been comforting.

First, I just wanted to say thank you for even updating. I can't even imagine how hard this time must be for you and your family, and the fact that you took the time to make this update and do this, well I can't thank you enough. I love this comic and it means a lot to me and seeing that you're ok and so is Joshua is a huge relief to me.
You are brave. You're incredibly, amazingly brave. Helping raise a child and making sure that Joshua will always know that he is loved? That's amazing and it takes incredible bravery to put someone else's life before yours. You're an incredible man, one far braver than most, even if you may not feel like it.
I wish you all the best and I know, deep down, that you'll be amazing for Joshua in any capacity you do fill.

David you're amazing, and you're completely right. Even if Joshua's family is struggling, giving him love and making him feel wanted will absolutely ensure that he's grows up feeling just that. I hope that Bernard and Mai can work through this obstacle and that they can BOTH be a part of Joshua's life, regardless of what his living situation ends up being. Hang in there man.

thank you for updating, this is all so sad (a lot times it seems people pretend to be happy for other people's sake), but I'm glad your there for Joshua, every child (actually every single person in the world for that matter) needs to be loved and known they are loved by someone. Maybe you, Miriam and Connor can band together and be like the Crystal Gems for Joshua, and then maybe one day everyone can be happy. Maybe one day.

Phew.

I hope things work out in the current situation. I'm sure you'll be able to make sure Joshua feels loved and wanted.

Not sure what's up with Mai, but I certainly hope she feels better soon - she always seemed so kind and friendly from the way you portray her, so I hope whatever is making her feel down can be resolved and that she can get involved with Joshua's life.

David don't lose heart my family has dealt with this too. I'm the first-born and my brother was born 14 months after me. Problem is he was kind of an accident, mom noticed her own pregnancy too late, and even after me she was unsure she was ready for kids. So after my brother's birth she labelled him ugly and gave him to her sister, who didn't have kids and wanted to (like you), FOR THREE WHOLE MONTHS or maybe they were six. So wait and you will see. Oh and what is more Mom now adores my bro and says i'm real bitch(and that she should have given me instead). You never know.

What you're doing will definitely help Joshua feel wanted in this world. You must be really tired with all that's going on, so I hope you can rest up.
